FAQ

Mr Paramedic First Aid Townsville – The Premier First Aid Provider

Are the courses Nationally Recognised?

Our First Aid Training Partner is Allens Training. Their RTO number is - 90909.

Mr Paramedic works with Allens Training to deliver a variety of nationally recognised first aid courses. Allens Training produces the certifications after each course is conducted to your training desk. Each of our nationally recognised courses has a course code to identify it. On our website, the course descriptions include the course code and our training partner information.

Are Mr Paramedic courses right for me?

Yes! Our courses are nationally recognised and are required by some industries including (but not limited to):

  • Government
  • Emergency Services
  • Childcare educators
  • Teachers and teachers aides
  • Personal Trainers
  • Workplace first-aiders
  • General Practitioners
  • Nurses
  • Swim teachers
  • Lifeguards

Our courses are interesting, informative and engaging!

You’ll learn the most up to date techniques in First Aid – taught by trainers who work in the health care industry everyday.

We guarantee courses that are tailored to your workplace, making it relevant for you.

How long am I certified for?

It depends on the course.

First Aid is current for three years, but CPR, Pool Lifeguard, Bronze Medallion and Oxygen Equipment need to be updated yearly.

Can a course be conducted at my workplace?

Yes, we can come to you at a time that suits your workplace.

We provide group discounts as well. When we come to you, the training can be tailored specifically to your work environment and includes instruction relating to specific anticipated risks, hazards, and injuries.

Is the First Aid course the same as completing Senior First Aid?

Yes, In March 2008 the new National Health Training Package HLT07 was released and First Aid now replaces Senior First Aid.

Each participant is awarded a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment upon successful completion.

What’s the difference between the First Aid course and the First Aid response in Education & Care Setting course?

The First Aid response in education & care setting course is specifically designed to accommodate those working in an education and care setting, providing them with the knowledge and skills to offer a first aid response to infants, children and adults. It covers all the basic first aid principles, as well as anaphylaxis and asthma.

I am having trouble enrolling online into my course on the portal?

Please only use the course ID in the search bar and your course should then appear.
Do not enter the course title or any other information except for the course ID which was provided to you via email.

How long until I receive my certificate and how?

You will receive your certificate to your email address provided on your course book within 48 hours post your course.

I need proof of passing the course for work or other reason?

Mr Paramedic will provide you with a completion letter which can be used in the interim until your certificate arrives or can organise for your certificate to come on the same day if urgent.

Why does my course booking incur a GST fee?

All course bookings and shop bookings incur a 10% GST fee. Mr Paramedic is partnered with Registered Training Organisations to deliver our nationally recognised courses - we are not a Registered Training Organisation. Because of this, we must charge GST for all course bookings and shop orders.
