Mr Paramedic now conducts AFL-focused Sports Trainer courses. These courses are endorsed by the AFL, and are designed for people working at a community AFL club as a sports trainer.
The Mr Paramedic Sports Trainer course runs for one full day, making it achievable for volunteers to participate and obtain their AFL accreditation as a Sports Trainer.

In a Mr Paramedic Sports Trainer course we cover all aspects of sports trainer roles along with the minimum requirement to be a sports trainer at AFL matches with the Emergency Response Coordinator course (ERC).
Participants learn how to understand and implement emergency management procedures, and provide immediate assessment and management of acute on-field injuries and medical emergencies.
The one full day of 9 hours is very practical and covers sports trainer scenario's that arise at AFL matches. Basic taping of a thumb, finger and ankle is also covered as part of this course.
Pre-requisite is a current Provide First Aid certificate HLTAID003
The Mr Paramedic Sports Trainer courses covers all aspects of being a trainer at an AFL match. This course has been designed specifically and only for the sport of AFL. Basic taping is part of this course as well as acute on field injuries and management.
You will be trained by experienced exercise physio, paramedic or trainers that are very up to date with sports training management.
