Every Minute Matters

Mr Paramedic wants to equip every large business and school with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). To make that happen, we are willing to give an AED’s to businesses and schools who qualify under the Every Minute Matters initiative, for free!

Did you know, around 30,000 Australians suffer a sudden cardiac arrest each year, and on average, only 9% of these people survive. These people are the lucky few who survived due to early intervention. The best chance of surviving cardiac arrest occurs when a victim’s care begins immediately with CPR and the use of an AED. If the casualty is shocked early by an AED the survival rates dramatically improve. 

In Australia, AED’s are currently located at hospitals, shopping centres and major sporting facilities. However, over the past few years, there’s been increasing pressure on businesses and schools to have an AED onsite. Although we believe it is extremely important for this to happen, we understand the huge financial burden this causes. So, the Mr Paramedic team has launched the Every Minute Matters initiative to ensure all businesses and schools have the opportunity to have an AED at their facility, but also not be out of pocket.
