Participants are expected to have experience around the water and have good swimming ability to perform water rescues. Course participants need to perform:

1. A 25-metre swim and then tow the non-swimmer 25-metres to safety in less than 1 minute and 45 seconds; 
2. Swim 200 metres continuously in under six minutes; and 
3. Spinal immobilisation using a Spine Board and head blocks.

•  SISCAQU020  Perform Water Rescues
•  SISCAQU019  Supervise Patron Safety in Aquatic Locations
•  SISCAQU021  Perform Complex Water Rescues
•  SISCAQU022 Provide Oxygen Resuscitation and Therapy in an Aquatic Environment
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

• Pre-requisite: Participants must have current certification in First Aid – HLTAID011 –  in order to enrol OR we can put them through a course for $120 plus GST 
• Cost: $700 + GST 
• Love2Swim rates - discounted for Love2swim staff only 
• Course duration: - ***Two days full face to face*** - alternative options available 
• Valid: 1 year
• Minimum age: 16 years
